California Firefighters Contain Santa Barbara Brush Fire

Share

Firefighters in California have contained a 450 acre wildfire in northeastern Santa Barbara County.

No structures have been reported damaged, and no evacuation were ordered in the area near New Cuyama, some 60 miles east of Santa Maria. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Firefighters in much of the western US and east coast have faced an unusually dry season, in stark contrast to the rainy Gulf region of the nation.
